My Story

While I have over a decade of experience in childcare at-large, I spent over five years working as a full-time, professional, nanny. Extensively experienced in the early years, I've made a career out of helping families thrive.

As a CACHE certified Newborn Care Specialist and Certified Professional Postpartum Doula, I'm honored to support families in Southern and Midcoast Maine (and worldwide ✈️) as they navigate the tender postpartum season through daytime support and overnight newborn care.

While my full-time nanny days are behind me, I'm available for select temp and travel nanny/family assistant positions worldwide. These can range anywhere from a few days to a few weeks; a helping hand on your travels for work or leisure, someone to hold down the fort while you're away, or a few weeks of expert childcare help (navigating behavioral challenges, toilet training, etc.) and organizational savvy to get your household running smoother - I've done it all!

Please visit the postpartum and nanny pages to learn more about my current service offerings, review FAQ's, and submit an inquiry.

*Birth support coming late 2026*

Working with Emma was the best decision we made for our family! From the moment she walked in, it felt like having a lifelong friend (with deep, postpartum expertise) by our side. Bringing home our first baby while navigating a difficult feeding schedule, birth weight struggles and c-section recovery was overwhelming, but Emma’s presence immediately lowered our anxiety. She is a true 'baby whisperer,' but she is just as skilled at supporting parents. She provided constant guidance and reassurance, turning stressful nights into smooth ones. Because we trusted her implicitly, we were able to get actual, stress-free sleep, knowing our baby was in the best possible hands. Emma didn’t just care for our newborn; she truly supported my postpartum recovery. She has a rare gift for this work, and we are so grateful for the love she brought into our home!
